Margaret Bashepoole, Mabel Hamond and James Wells were found guilty of burgling the house of Robert Hove at Kelvedon on 20 June 1603 and stealing a gown (12s), a petticoat (10s), a pair of linen sheets (6s. 8d), a hat (5s), a table-napkin (3d), a petticoat (6s) and an apron (8d).

Margaret Bashepoole and Mabel Hamond were found guilty of burgling the house of John Johnson at East Tilbury on 21 June 1603 stole a petticoat (3s), a waistcoat (5s), a frieze jerkin (2s), a hat (5s), an apron (4d), 2 sheets (4s), a pillowbar (16d), 2 aprons (8d), 10 crosscloths (3s), 2 kerchiefs (6d), 4 coifs (8d), a tablecloth (1s), 6 bands (6d), 6 neckerchiefs (6s), 2 biggins (2d), a smock (1s) and a girdle (1d).
